....We are happy to announce that "Hickoryhill's Sweet Tart" just competed
her requirements to be a Certified Therapy Dog. "Sweetie" is owned by Dr.
Cynthia Pena of NY. Currently Sweetie is in residence at Hickoryhill to
begin her show career.
Sweetie" is the second dog of ours that has recently completed the
requirements to become a Certified Therapy Dog. Hickoryhill's Klevor has
also completed those requirements. Klevor is owned by Carla Kratz of
Evansville, IN

We were very excited to be informed that Select Ch, Hickoryhill's GQ was
named the #3 GSDCA Annual Training Achievement Award(ATAA) Sire for 2007.
This award is given based on the points earned by the progeny competing in
performance events. This is the second top5 ATAA sire we have bred at
Hickoryhill. Our first was GV Bull.

2008 SHOW RESULTS

It has been quite a busy and successful Spring show season at Hickoryhill!

FEBRUARY. 2008
- Our Hickoryhill's Doll House( "Barbie) finished her championship in grand
style by taking a 4pt major at the prestigious Triangle Shows in Chicago.
We would like to thank judge Dick Jones for the finishing touch! Barbie was
expertly handled by Jeff Pyle.

APRIL 2008-
Hickoryhill's Porter House( Macho) took a 4pt major under judge John
Bemont. Macho needs only 1 more point to complete his championship. Macho
was expertly handled by Jeff Pyle

Our Hickoryhill's Magic Marker went Best in South Pacific Futurity under
breeder/judge Laurie Pruett and if that weren't enough she took two back to
back 5pt majors under judges Bob Drescher and David Rinke. "Markie" is
owned by Dave Lasater of Utah. Markie was handled by Ken Tank and Nancy
McDonald

Hickoryhill's Raspberry Beret went Best Opposite Sex at the South East
futurity in Forrest City, Arkansas under breeder/ judge David Rinke. "Berry"
 is co-owned with us and Randy Chesnut of  Houma, Louisiana. Berry was
handled by Kent Boyles and Scott Yergin

MAY 2008

Macho, aka Hickoryhill's Porter House went Best Opposite in Maturity in the
NE  at Seneca Falls, NY under breeder/ judge Janet Staley. Macho is
co-owned with Scott Trahan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was handled by
Jeff Pyle

JULY 2008

 We are thrilled that we now have another new champion at
Hickoryhill. Porter House completed the requirements for his championship
by finishing with a 3 point major our the Evansville KC show. "Macho" was
expertly handled by Jeff Pyle for this nice win.

AUGUST 2008

Hickoryhill's Raspberry Beret has started her campaign toward her
championship by garnering 7pts in the month of August. She went WB both
days at the Muncie KC shows and won 3out of 4 shows at the Monroe, LA
shows. Also our champion Hickoryhill's Doll House( Barbie) went Best of
Breed both days at Muncie and on to take a Group 4 at the Sunday show.
Thank you to Jeff Pyle and Nick Fedorow for their expert handling of
Barbie to these nice wins!
